2012 bowl projections: Florida State projected for Orange Bowl vs. Louisville

The Florida State Seminoles are currently projected to face the Louisville Cardinals in the Orange Bowl. Also, the Florida Gators are projected for the Capital One Bowl and the Miami Hurricanes for the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

US PRESSWIRE

The No. 10 Florida State Seminoles are currently projected to face the No. 19 Louisville Cardinals in the Orange Bowl, according to SB Nation's latest bowl projections.

Florida State is in line for the Orange Bowl as the ACC champion. Louisville, despite getting stomped by Syracuse on Saturday, is still expected to win the Big East and grab one of the three at-large bids.

Elsewhere, the Florida Gators are projected to face the Michigan Wolverines in the Capital One Bowl on New Year's Day. Both of those teams are slated to finish as the No. 2 teams in their respective conferences, not counting at-large BCS berths. The Gators and Wolverines played in the 2008 Capital One Bowl, with Chad Henne out-dueling Tim Tebow in a 41-35 Michigan victory.

Finally, the Miami Hurricanes are projected to face the South Carolina Gamecocks in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. The Hurricanes are currently tied atop the ACC's Coastal Division and are projected to take the conferences No. 2 bowl slot.
