The Florida State Seminoles host the Buffalo Bulls on Monday night as they try to bounce back from a season-opening loss to South Alabama. FSU shot just 41.5 percent in defeat, including 23.8 percent shooting from beyond the three-point line.
The Bulls are coming off a 57-53 loss to Princeton on Saturday. Javon McCrea led the team with 22 points in that contest; he is the team's leading returning scorer. Tony Watson was the only other Bulls player in double figures against Princeton, as Buffalo shot 34.9 percent from the field as a team.
Terry Whisnant, Montay Brandon, Michael Snaer and Terrance Shannon scored in double figures for the Seminoles against South Alabama. But Snaer, who was a preseason All-ACC selection, struggled from the field, hitting just two of 11 shots.
The game on Monday night is part of the 2012 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic, which also includes BYU, Notre Dame and Saint Joseph's.
