2012 ACC Football Standings: Florida State leads Atlantic Division, Miami atop Coastal

Florida State and Miami are two of the top teams in the ACC.

Joel Auerbach

The top football teams in the ACC are in the state of Florida so far this season. Florida State tied for the Atlantic Division and league lead with a 5-1 conference record. Miami is on top of the Coastal Division at 4-2 in ACC action.

Tied with FSU is No. 10 Clemson, which lost to the Seminoles on Sept. 22. The ACC teams have really beaten up on each other this season. Aside from FSU, Miami, Clemson and North Carolina, there are no other teams in the league with .500 records in conference play.

The Seminoles are coming off a 48-7 win against Duke and face Virginia Tech on Thursday. You can watch that game on ESPN.
