The No. 10 Florida State Seminoles will be big favorites when they head to Virginia Tech to take on the Hokies for a Thursday night showdown. According to OddsShark, the Seminoles opened as a 12-point favorite, but that number has moved to as high as 14 points. The total for the game is set at 51.
Florida State last played on Oct. 27, when it smashed Duke, 48-7. The Seminoles have been dominant nearly all season, save for one slip-up against North Carolina State. FSU holds a ridiculous 32.8 margin in point differential, although they have only gone 4-4 against the spread. In fact, the Seminoles are 0-3 on the road against the spread.
Virginia Tech has struggled to a 4-5 record this season and is coming off a 30-12 loss to Miami. The Hokies are 2-7 against the spread this season, with both of those covers coming at home.
These two teams last played in 2010, when Virginia Tech clinched an ACC title by beating Florida State, 44-33.
The game kicks off on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET. For more college football odds, check out SB Nation's odds page.
