College basketball schedule: Florida State among those in action this weekend

Teams from around Florida will be in action over the weekend, as the second month of the season hits its first full weekend of play.

Jacksonville Dolphins vs. South Carolina Gamecocks, Dec. 7, 7 p.m. ET

Having won two of its last three, Jacksonville will travel to take on the Gamecocks in Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C. The Gamecocks have dropped two in a row and will aim to bounce back against the Dolphins.

Allen vs. Florida A&M Rattlers, Dec. 8, 4 p.m. ET

Winners of two in a row, the Rattlers welcome Allen into the Al Lawson Center for a weekend showdown. After dropping six of its first seven, Florida A&M has rebounded and will look to keep it going against Allen.

Florida International Panthers vs. Stetson Hatters, Dec. 9, 2 p.m. ET

The interstate meeting between Florida International and Stetson will give both teams a chance to test themselves against competition not far from home.

Maine Black Bears vs. Florida State Seminoles, Dec. 9, 4 p.m. ET on ESPNU

Looking to snap a three-game skid, the ACC's Seminoles will try to right the ship against the America East's Black Bears on Sunday afternoon.
