Even though the Jacksonville Jaguars were off this past weekend because of the bye week, they stayed near the bottom of most of the power rankings lists. In SB Nation's NFL Power Rankings, Joel Thorman has the Jaguars ranked at No. 29, the same ranking as last week. Thorman just had this to say about Jacksonville:
Gonna be a long year for the Jags.
In ESPN.com's NFL Power Rankings, the Jaguars are ranked at No. 31. ESPN NFL analyst John Clayton says that the bye week will hopefully help the Jaguars get one of their offensive weapons back:
Mike Mularkey needed a bye week to sort out what's wrong with the passing offense and to try to get WR Laurent Robinson healthy.
On Fox Sports' Power Rankings, the Jaguars are ranked at No. 32 and on NFL.com, the Jaguars take No. 31, only seven points ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 32.
The Jaguars next play the Oakland Raiders on Sunday at O.co Coliseum. Kickoff is scheduled at 4:25 p.m.
