While the Jaguars began the quarter with a punt, the Raiders muffed the punt and Russell Allen recovered the loose ball to give the Jaguars the ball in the red zone. They quickly took advantage with a touchdown as Rashad Jennings rushed five yards for a score.

The interception gave the Jaguars the ball in Raiders territory. While they weren't able to take advantage with a touchdown, a 50-yard field goal by Josh Scobee extended the Jaguars lead to 14 points.
The Jaguars tried to continue their advantage with a onside kick that they successfully recovered. However, the Chad Henne-led offense turned the ball over on downs and the Raiders were able to turn the field position into a drive to the red zone and a 33-yard field goal for Sebastian Janikowski
