To literally add insult to injury, the Jacksonville Jaguars are 32nd in the SB Nation NFL power rankings this week.
The Jaguars not only lost to the Raiders, 26-23, on Sunday, but they lost star running back Maurice Jones-Drew and quarterback Blaine Gabbert to injuries.
32. Jacksonville Jaguars (LW: 29, 1-5): Last year's first-round pick, Blaine Gabbert, has a torn labrum. This year's first-round pick, Justin Blackmon, decided to disappear. The team's best player, Maurice Jones-Drew, might be done for the season, after whining about his contract all summer. Jaguars football, feel the excitement!
Jacksonville replaced the Kansas City Chiefs as the worst team in the NFL in SB Nation's power rankings.
In FOX's power rankings, the Jaguars come in 32nd again. The Browns (29th), Chiefs (30th) and Raiders (31st) check in ahead of Jacksonville.
In the CBS Sports power rankings, the Jaguars retain their spot in -- where else -- dead last. The Chiefs came in 30th and the Panthers checked in at No. 31.
The only power rankings to not have the Jaguars dead last is ESPN. Jacksonville is ranked 31st ahead of the Chiefs. The Browns are at No. 30.
For the Jaguars to get out of the cellar they'll have to try to beat Green Bay without Jones-Drew on Sunday. Jacksonville will hit the road to play the Packers at 1 p.m. on CBS.
