The Jacksonville Jaguars may have lost 24-15 to the Green Bay Packers in Week 8, but on a positive note, the Jaguars did not suffer any new injuries.
Blaine Gabbert played with an injured non-throwing shoulder, and he actually did quite well. Gabbert threw for 303 yards and one touchdown, marking his first-career 300-yard passing game.
There's not much of an update on the status of star running back Maurice Jones-Drew, who left the Week 7 game against the Oakland Raiders with an injured foot. Jones-Drew is currently questionable for the Week 9 game against the Detroit Lions, but there's a good chance that he misses an extended period of time.
Wide receiver Laurent Robinson sat out again with a concussion. Robinson has missed the last three games and is questionable for Week 9. Montell Owens (shoulder), Rashean Mathis (groin) and Derek Cox (back) also missed Sunday's game, and all three of them are questionable for the Lions game.
