Jaguars make a few roster moves

The Jaguars re-signed Steve Vallos and released Keith Toston, as Jacksonville gets ready to take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10.

Phil Sears-US PRESSWIRE

The Jacksonville Jaguars made three roster moves in advance of their Week 10 battle against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football.

Jacksonville signed offensive guard Steve Vallos to the 53-man roster, and in a corresponding roster move, waived running back Keith Toston.

The Jaguars also announced that they have added linebacker Brandon Marshall to their practice squad.

Vallos was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles on Sept. 18, but was later released. Vallos was signed by the Jaguars on Oct. 30, but waived on Saturday.

Jacksonville drafted Marshall with the 142nd pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, out of Nevada. The Jaguars waived Marshall on Oct. 27, but have brought the 23-year-old linebacker back to the organization by adding him to the practice squad.

Toston was originally signed by the Jaguars on Aug. 2, but was cut after a hamstring injury prevented him from making the 53-man roster to begin the season. Jacksonville re-signed Toston on Oct. 23, and again on Nov. 1, but have once again cut the running back.
