NFL inactives, Week 10: Colts vs. Jaguars

Rashean Mathis is active for the Jaguars primetime showdown against the Colts.

Jake Roth-US PRESSWIRE

Although he suited up for Sunday's win over the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts linebacker Robert Mathis was one of two key players listed as inactive for Thursday Night Football, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The 10-year veteran was listed as questionable to play in Week 10 with a back injury but ultimately was ruled out by the organization due to his team's short week. While Mathis will not be in uniform on Thursday evening, two of his banged-up teammates, Donald Brown and Donnie Avery, were both listed as active. Brown continues to deal with swelling following midseason knee surgery, while Avery may still be hampered by a hip injury that forced him to the sideline in Week 9.

Ruled out for the Jaguars as they look for their second victory of 2012, cornerback Rashean Mathis, will not be in action in Week 10. The 32-year-old defensive back last played on Oct. 21 against the Oakland Raiders before injuring his groin.
