Jaguars-Jets injury report: Concussions hurting 3 Jacksonville players

The Jaguars had six players out at practice Thursday.

Six Jacksonville Jaguars were missing from practice Thursday, according to the team's official injury report.

Lineman Mike Brewster (hand), running back Rashad Jennings (concussion), running back Maurice Jones-Drew (foot), cornerback Aaron Ross (calf), defensive end George Selvie (concussion) and wide receiver Cecil Shorts (concussion) all were out with injuries Thursday.

The Jags also had two players limited at practice, including full back Greg Jones (thigh) and defensive end Austen Lane (foot). Defensive tackle Tyson Alualu (calf), cornerback Derek Cox (hamstring), cornerback Rashean Mathis (groin) and center Brad Meester (foot) were on the injury report but fully practiced Thursday.

The Jets had a trio of players who did not practice Thursday, including tight end Dustin Keller, who has an ankle injury. Wide receiver Clyde Gates (concussion) and safety LaRon Landry (heel) were also out.

Six Jets were limited at practice Thursday. They were: Defensive tackle Damon Harrison (ankle), running back Joe McKnight (ankle/ribs), guard Brandon Moore (hip), defensive tackle Sione Po'uha (back), quarterback Tim Tebow (ribs) and wide receiver Stephen Hill (knee). It was a good sign for Hill, who did not practice Wednesday.

Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday.
