Bengals vs. Jaguars score update: Jacksonville closes gap, trail 17-10

After a poor end to the first half, things didn't look good for the Jaguars to start the second half. However, a Bengals fumble on the goal line, followed by a long Jaguars drive that ended in a field goal cut the score to 17-10.

On the opening possession of the second half, the Bengals looked like they were continuing on their offensive momentum that gave them back-to-back touchdowns in the first half and a 10-point lead. However, after several tremendous plays by A.J. Green, a BenJarvus Green-Ellis fumble on the goal line gave the Jaguars the ball back.

The Jaguars drove the ball 77 yards on the subsequent drive thanks to several short passes on the 14-play drive to Justin Blackmon, but a pass to Kevin Elliott came up a yard short of a first down inside the Jaguars five yard line and they settled for a 21-yard Josh Scobee field goal to cut the Bengals lead to seven.

The Bengals will begin the fourth quarter with the ball deep in Jaguars territory.
