Jaguars Vs. Ravens: Jacksonville Leads Baltimore 6-0 At Halftime Of Monday Night Football

Josh Scobee added another field goal to give the Jacksonville Jaguars a 6-0 lead at halftime of Monday Night Football. After connecting from 54 yards in the first quarter, Scobee added yet another 54 yarder to extend the lead. The field goal was set up by a running-into-the-kicker penalty by Paul Kruger on a Nick Harris punt. The five yard penalty put the Jags within Scobee range and Jack Del Rio chose to go for the 3 points instead of re-punt the football.

The real story of the first half was the Jags defense and the Ravens inept offense. Baltimore has a grand total of zero first downs on nine possessions. They have 16 total yards on 25 plays. The low point came mid way through the 2nd quarter, when Joe Flacco completed a pass to himself to give the Ravens a down and distance of 4th and 43.

The Jags offense has struggled as well, most notably Maurice Jones-Drew. The typically sure-handed Jones-Drew has fumbled three times in the first half, including a costly lost fumble on the one yard line as the Jags were going in for a touchdown.

Jacksonville will look to keep the heat on Flacco as they seek their second win of the season in primetime.
