Jaguars Vs. Ravens: Scobee Adds Another Field Goal, Jacksonville Leads Baltimore 9-0 After Third Quarter

Josh Scobee added his third field goal of the night to give the Jacksonville Jaguars a 9-0 lead after three quarters of play on Monday Night Football. This time, however, Scobee did not have to connect from 50 plus yards, as a Jaguars drive stalled on the Ravens’ four yard line. The Jags drive was given new life when Baltimore linebacker and special teams ace Brendon Ayanbadejo was flagged for unnecessary roughness for a punch to the head of Guy Whimper. It looked like Whimper caught him first, but Ayanbadejo was ejected on the retaliation.

On their final drive of the quarter, the Ravens would finally get their first first down of the night but their offense has still failed to even threaten to enter field goal range. Ray Rice had a double-digit gain but Joe Flacco’s abysmal night continues. The Ravens QB is averaging 1.8 yards per completion. The Jags defense looks to complete the shutout on Monday Night Football and give the Jags their second win of the season.
