LeGarrette Blount Fantasy Projection: An Injured QB Means Lots Of Touches For Tampa Bay's RB

With the quarterback situation up in the air, LeGarrette Blount and the Buccaneers ground game will be tasked with helping Tampa Bay (4-8) end a six game losing streak when they they face in-state foe Jacksonville (3-9) on Sunday afternoon.

Jacksonville does not have the offense to put Tampa Bay in an early hole, so expect a heavy dose of Blount throughout the game against a Jaguars defense that has allowed two 100-yard rushers and four rushing touchdowns in the past three weeks.

Despite the aforementioned positive signs for a Blount breakout this week, the fantasy football projection site numberFire ranks Blount as just the 17th best option at running back this weekend. The Tampa Bay RB's projected stats: 11.16 car, 49.03 yds, 2.57 rec for 22.74 yds, 0.44 TDs for 9.82 points.

For the season, Blount has rushed 149 times for 663 yards and four touchdowns.
