Kellen Winslow Fantasy Projection: Despite QB Questions, Buccaneers TE Is Solid Start Against Jaguars

No matter who is at quarterback Sunday when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-8) face the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-9), Kellen Winslow will be targeted often and has the opportunity for a huge fantasy day. Winslow averages seven targets a game, and despite catching just nine balls for 93 yards in the past two games, is still just one reception short of being the team's leading receiver. Jacksonville has allowed six touchdown receptions to opposing tight ends this season.

The fantasy football projection site numberFire ranks Winslow as the ninth best option at tight end this weekend. The Tampa Bay TE's projected stats: 3.56 rec for 41.17 yds, 0.34 TDs for 6.17 points.

For the season, Winslow is second on the team in catches, with 56 receptions. He has 569 yards and two touchdowns, and 31 of his 56 receptions have been for first downs.
