The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took a 14-0 lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at EverBank Field. Josh Freeman, returning after being inactive last week against the Carolina Panthers, scrambled up the middle to give the Bucs a two touchdown lead. Nursing a sore shoulder, it was Freeman's only scramble of the game so far, as the 13 yard run finished with a lunge to break the plane. In the air, Freeman is 8 of 15 for 113 yards against a depleted and injured Jacksonville defensive backfield. Video of Freeman's touchdown run below:
While the run gave Tampa the two touchdown lead, Jacksonville has responded in the second quarter with two scores of their own to even it at 14-14. Freeman and the Bucs are looking to break a six game losing streak.
