Buccaneers vs. Jaguars: Tampa Bay Miscues Keeping Jacksonville Up After 3 Quarters, 28-14

Jacksonville’s defense continues to dominate the Buccaneers, forcing two turnovers in the third quarter and maintaining a 28-14 lead through three quarters of play.

Josh Freeman was picked off for the second time in the game and LeGarrette Blount fumbled for the second time, killing drives. The Bucs have turned the ball over six times and have also been penalized 10 times for 72 yds.

Penalties sabotaged one of the Bucs’ drives, forcing the Bucs to try and convert a third and long.

Meanwhile, the Jaguars missed a golden opportunity to put the game away but Bucs linebacker Mason Foster intercepted Gabbert in the end zone.

Tampa Bay has outgained Jacksonville 242-227. Thus far, the Bucs have done a decent job on Maurice Jones-Drew, holding him to 55 yards on 17 carries but Jones-Drew has scored both rushing and receiving during the game.
