Jacksonville Injury Update: Chris Prosinski And T.J. Heath To Injured Reserve

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been best by injuries during the entire 2011 NFL season, and two more took their toll on Monday. Safety Chris Prosinski and T.J. Heath saw their seasons end as they were placed on injured reserve. That now makes 23 different players on the Jacksonville roster that have been placed on injured reserve:

The Jaguars are placing T.J. Heath on injured reserve, according to Heath's Twitter. He says he'll need surgery for the shoulder he injured in practice last week.

Prosinski injured his thumb in Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, thus ending his season. To take their places on the roster the Jaguars promoted 3rd-year corner Darcel McBath and 2nd-year corner Robert McClain to the 53-man roster. McBath is a former second round pick of the Denver Broncos whow as placed on injured reserve last season and cut before this season started. He has 33 tackles and two interceptions in his career.
