Shahid Khan Wants Jaguars To Play Overseas

New Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan held a press conference on Friday and told members of the media he's likes the idea of his team playing a game overseas.

"Internationally, fans don't really know the difference between the Jaguars and the Steelers. Why shouldn't we be the flag carriers?"

"I think it would serve Jacksonville well to play a game or two overseas, to get the name Jacksonville out there," Khan said. "To develop Jacksonville overseas."

This year, the Chicago Bears defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaners 24-18 in what has become the NFL's annual matchup at London's Wembly Stadium on Oct. 23. The NFL has sent teams to England every year since 2006, and also staged a game between the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, the first NFL game played on foreign soil.
