On Friday afternoon, the Jacksonville Jaguars had four new names on their injury report. The Jags face a spiraling San Diego Chargers team which is looking to end a six game losing streak. But on Friday, both Ashton Youboty and William Middleton were listed on the injury report. Middleton was the only player listed who did not practice at all on Friday, suffering an apparent knee injury during Thursday's practice.
Youboty was limited in practice on Friday with a hip injury. As it is, both corners were already replacing the injured Rashean Mathis and Derek Cox. Also in the secondary, rookie Chris Prosinksi was limited due to a hamstring injury. In his first game, the injuries in an already depleted secondary will certainly present a challenge to interim coach Mel Tucker in his coaching debut in primetime on Monday night.
