The Jacksonville Jaguars offense runs around running back Maurice Jones-Drew. He currently leads the NFL in rushing yards and accounts for nearly half of the Jaguars offense, literally. In his first carry of the game against the Tennessee Titans, Jones-Drew went up the middle for just three yards, but he came up limping. He immediately left the football field and went to the bench with the trainers.
Last week against the Atlanta Falcons, Jones-Drew hurt his ankle and missed a handful of plays before the half, but returned to the game. On the sideline today, Jones-Drew's right ankle was being taped up by the trailers and he should be expected to return. Despite what he says publicly, he wants the NFL's rushing title.
