Jaguars Vs. Chargers Score Update: San Diego Leads 24-14 After One Half Of Monday Night Football

The San Diego Chargers will receive the kick off to start the second half with a ten point lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Chargers added a late touchdown with just 23 seconds remaining in the first half, when Philip Rivers went over the top to hit Vincent Jackson for a 35 yard touchdown pass. The Chargers quarterback had a big first half, throwing for 200 plus yards and two touchdowns through thirty minutes.

After falling behind 10-0, the Jaguars battled back with two unanswered touchdowns to take a 14-10 lead. Maurice Jones-Drew got the Jags on the board first, taking a nine yard pass from Blaine Gabbert into the end zone. Gabbert then hit Cecil Shorts on a fade to the corner of the end zone for the lead. Shorts was interfered with on the play but still held on. The pass was perfectly placed by Gabbert, who finished the first half 11 of 15 for 139 yards.

But Philip Rivers would ensure the lead was short-lived, as he came right back with his two touchdown drives to put San Diego back on top, 24-14.
