Week 14 NFL Picks: Jaguars, Buccaneers A Veritable Toss Up

Two of our regional's teams are in a matchup this week that may be the lowlight of the entire NFL weekend. The Jaguars and the Buccaneers will play in a game that might have been considered a slam dunk win for the Bucs before the year. Now? Who knows. I'd rather go to the experts, first, at SB Nation Arizona.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Jacksonville Jaguars (+1): The line tells it all. This one is a toss up. The Jaguars are one of the worst offenses in the NFL while the Bucs have a horrible defense. What happens when those two things collide is an age old question in sports (Bad offense vs. Bad defense). When in doubt, go home. Pick: Jaguars

Next, our pals at SB Nation St. Louis.

Wow this is a horrible matchup. The Bucs are trying to plug holes on a defense that has given up 20 or more points in eight straight games, but the Jaguars are the second- worst scoring offense in the league (12.7 pts/gm). Something has to give, people! This game has local blackout written all over it. Even if Josh Freeman doesn't play, I think the Bucs break their six-game losing streak...not that it matter much at this point anyways. Pick: Bucs
