In a strange turn of events, Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow was allowed to pick which team he was traded to. The choice for Tebow came down to his hometown Jacksonville Jaguars or the New York Jets, who originally agreed to trade for him. Tim Tebow wound up choosing the Jets over the Jacksonville Jaguars according to a report by Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Denver has agreed to trade Tim Tebow and a seventh-round pick to the Jets for the NY's fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick.

The deal in place is the original deal that was agreed upon, but as for the original snag of the Jets being required to pay the Broncos $5 million has been revised. According to Schefter, the Jets will pay the Broncos half of the compensation for a total of $2.5 million.
