2012 NFL Draft: Jacksonville Selects Linebacker Brandon Marshall In Fifth Round

The Jacksonville Jaguars have selected Nevada linebacker Brandon Marshall with the seventh pick in the fifth round, the 142nd overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Marshall started every game over the last three years at Nevada, and led the team in tackles both his junior and senior years. Issues with his athletic ability pushed him down some draft boards, but scouts do like his lanky frame and quick read-and-react ability to make plays. Marshall is weaker against the pass and has some problems playing zone.
