NFL Draft Results 2012: Jaguars Finish Draft Selecting Jeris Pendleton At No. 228.

The Jacksonville Jaguars wrapped up their draft by taking a little-known defensive tackle, Jeris Pendleton, out of Ashland. Pendelton is 6'2 and 322 pounds, standing out in low Division III and in the Great Lakes conference at Ashland. He was told by five NFL teams, including the Falcons, Colts, and Saints, that he would receive an invite to camp but few expected him to go in the draft. Gene Smith and Mike Mularkey decided to take a flyer late in the draft, and find a potential rotation player along the defensive front.
