The Jacksonville Jaguars cut Drew Coleman from their roster earlier in this offseason, and rumors about his unhappiness in Jacksonville soon trickled out. Coleman is now starting to receive some interest from other teams, and according to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean, that includes the Titans.
Coleman, who played last season with the Jaguars, joins Drayton Florence and Andre’ Goodman. Florence met with team officials on Wednesday at Baptist Sports Park, a day after Goodman. Coleman is a six-year veteran who played from 2006-2010 with the Jets before joining the Jaguars. He has four career interceptions.
Coleman was solid for the Jaguars when he got onto the field, and he is likely just seeking a bigger role. That is something he can likely find if he signs with the Titans.
