Terrance Knighton Injury: Jaguars DT Holds Press Conference, Plans To Be Ready By Training Camp

The Jacksonville Jagurs nearly lost an important piece to their defense this offseason when Terrance Knighton injured his eye after being struck with a glass bottle in the face during a bar fight. But Knighton spoke to reporters, and according to Big Cat Country, his eyesight is progressing and the big man anticipates being ready by training camp.

"I put myself in that position. I'm not concerned about who did it. I plan on being ready by training camp," Knighton told reporters at his press conference. As I reported on Sunday, Knighton is well ahead of schedule on his recovery and told reporters that he can now lift weights, but cannot push too hard. Knighton said that currently he has 20-10 vision in his right eye and is just currently waiting for his left eye to catch up, which is at 20-60 right now.

Knighton was reportedly very calm when answering these questions, even though they were about a subject that he is likely not very proud of.
