D'Anthony Smith has been plagued by injuries the last two seasons. After being drafted in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Smith has not seen the field in the regular season at all due to injury. Entering what should be his third season in the NFL, Smith knows that his job could be in jeopardy if he is not able to produce this season.
D'Anthony Smith: "I'd be crazy not to think it's last call. 3 strikes and you're out. I was brought here 2 produce."

For what its worth, Smith appears to be practicing well during Jacksonville's OTAs. He has said that his achilles is feeling good as well as his toe.
DT Smith says his Achilles and toe feels so good that "everything feels like it was worth the year off."
