The Jacksonville Jaguars cut cornerback Drew Coleman on Thursday afternoon after Coleman spent only one year on the team.

Coleman was signed from the New York Jets after the 2011 season. In his lone season with the Jaguars, Coleman recorded 46 total tackles while playing in every regular season game. Coleman also recorded two sacks and two interceptions during the season. Coleman was also credited with nine passes defended last season.
The six-year veteran played his college football at TCU and was drafted in the sixth round by the New York Jets in 2006.
