Bryan Anger Contract: Rookie Punter Agrees To Deal

Bryan Anger, the Jacksonville Jaguars' third-round selection from last April's NFL Draft, has agreed to terms on a rookie contract, ensuring that he'll be in attendance when the team begins training camp on Thursday.

Anger, who played collegiately at Cal, was selected with the No. 70 pick. A three-time Pac-12 first-teamer, he averaged 43.5 yards per punt, including 90 inside the 20-yard line over a four-year career with the Golden Bears.

He is the second-to-last Jaguars rookie to ink a deal or agree to terms. Other draft picks Andre Branch, Brandon Marshall, Mike Harris and Jeris Pendleton have all signed contracts. The lone unresolved contract situation remains former Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon in the wake of his guilty plea following a drunken driving offense last month.
