Jaguars Training Camp: Mike Mularkey Fines For Revealing Injuries O.K. By Players

While the news earlier Friday of Mike Mularkey announcing that he will begin to fine players $10,000 for revealing injury information to the media was viewed as potentially illegal according to NFL rules, a new report from Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union states that the players are fine with Mularkey's proposal.

Ganguli spoke with Jaguars player rep Rashean Mathis said the players had no problems with the new rule, and that the penalty agreed on is $9,915 per offense.

There were rumors that the NFLPA would take action against Mularkey's rule, but if the players agreed to it, there is not much they could do in this situation to stop it.
