The Jacksonville Jaguars waived wide receiver Charles Gilbert on Monday and claimed linebacker Nate Bussey off waivers.

Bussey was a seventh-round draft pick by the New Orleans Saints in the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Illinois, and led the Big Ten in fumble recoveries in 2010. He finished that season second on the Illini in tackles, and also was an All-Big Ten honorable mention.
Gilbert is a rookie who played for Concordia University, St. Paul in college. The Jacksonville native had 89 receptions for 1,941 yards and 25 touchdowns in his two seasons with Concordia.
