Eugene Monroe Injury: Jaguars OT Out Again

Eugene Monroe will not play in Thursday's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Jaguars tackle has been recovering from a blow to the head sustained in practice two weeks ago. Monroe has been undergoing daily concussion testing since his injury.

Despite not playing in the game, Monroe will make the trip to Baltimore with the team. Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey told reporters that there are no concerns of him traveling with his injury.

I don't know if traveling has anything to do with the testing part of it. If they felt like it had anything to do with speeding up the process and having him come back and they felt like travel was a concern they would not have let him travel

Other players that will not be playing for the Jaguars because of injury include cornerback Derek Cox, linebacker Daryl Smith and guard Will Rackley. Kickoff for the Jaguars game Thursday night at M&T Bank Field is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
