Jaguars Vs. Ravens: Jacksonville Starters To Play To 3rd Quarter

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey confirmed that starters will play through the third quarter of Thursday's game. The coach acknowledged that this will put pressure on players that are facing cuts, but they will have chances in practice to impress before the first round of cuts.

I said to them this morning ‘You have to understand because of limited plays you'll have on Thursday night, today's practice is very important that when you get reps, Saturday's practice when you come in here and Monday's practice which is prior to the four o'clock deadline. All of those practices will still be evaluated on you guys.

The first round of cuts will be on Monday where NFL teams will be trimmed to 80 players. The final cuts will come on August 31 where the rosters will be trimmed down to 53 players, though up to eight players can be retained on the team's practice squad.

Kick off for Thursday's game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
