The Jacksonville Jaguars were routed by the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night at M&T Bank Stadium, 48-17. But despite the blowout loss, wide receiver Justin Blackmon appeared to be the only receiver that came to play and his on-field effort has impressed head coach Mike Mularkey according to a Jacksonville.com report:
"I thought he played well again. He made the catches. We need more guys doing what he's doing. When the ball is in the vicinity, we've got to make catches. He's doing that. We need more than one guy to do what they did. When the ball is tightly covered, we need to make the plays. We didn't do that, and they did."
Blackmon finished the game with 72 receiving yards on four catches.
