Falcons Vs. Jaguars 2012: Game Preview, Kickoff Time, TV Schedule And More

The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, playing the final game of their 2012 preseason schedule. The Jaguars are 2-1 in the 2012 preseason, and 1-0 at home. Complete game time and television information is below.

The Jaguars starters are expected to see action in the game, but as is typical of the late preseason their reps will be limited, likely to no more than they can fit in the first quarter. That leaves the rest of the game for those fighting for a spot on the roster, such as the four rookie linebackers highlighted by SB Nation's Jaguars blog Big Cat Country:

Brandon Marshall, the fifth round selection of the Jaguars in the 2012 NFL Draft, is in a battle with three undrafted free agents (Joshua Jones, J.K. Schaffer and Julian Stanford) for the roster spots.

Check out the full post from Big Cat Country for insight into the position battle.

Game Time: 6:30 p.m. ET, Thursday Aug. 30

Location: EverBank Field, Jacksonville, FL

Television Coverage: CBS
