Jaguars Vs. Falcons: Uche Nwaneri Leaves Game With Foot Injury

Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Uche Nwaneri hobbled off the field in the first quarter of Jacksonville's preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons with a left foot or ankle injury, according to Mark Long of the Associated Press.

The first quarter injury in the team's final preseason game will be a blow to a Jaguars' offensive line that is already thin at almost every position. Nwaneri was projected as the starting right guard to begin the year and was one of the few lineman with significant game experience for new head coach Mike Mularkey.

Daniel Baldridge is currently listed as the backup to Nwaneri, but Jacksonville might look to the waiver wire if Nwaneri is out for an extended period of time.
