With a Maurice Jones-Drew holdout ending just before the season, Rashad Jennings was supposed to get the majority of the carries on Sunday. However, a first half knee injury quickly changed the Jaguars' plans, as Jennings was done for the day.
Luckily for him, and the team, the injury is not expected to be serious, according to Big Cat Country.
"Just a leg right now, I'm going to tell you that," Mularkey told reporters in his post-game press conference. "He tried to play through it, so we'll see where he is. But he tried to play through it, he went in there on the goal line play after he'd come out. I don't know how serious it is, but he did go in after a couple of snaps."
"I don't think serious," Mularkey said when asked if it was a worrisome injury.
The Jaguars play the Houston Texans on Sunday.
