Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Uche Nwaneri left Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings with an ankle injury, but he was able to return to finish the game. There was some concern that Nwaneri might not play this upcoming Sunday against the Houston Texans, because the ankle injury was something that was already a concern since he hurt it in the final preseason game.
Head coach Mike Mularkey said after Monday's press conference that he expects Nwaneri to play on Sunday. That was confirmed even more so on Wednesday as Nwaneri practiced, and was not limited at all. After practice, Mularkey once again said that Nwaneri should be playing on Sunday.
With Nwaneri fully participating in Wednesday's practice all signs point to him being in the lineup on Sunday against the Texans.
