Maurice Jones-Drew Looked 'Very Good' On Tape To Gary Kubiak

Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak had kind words for Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew on a conference call this week. Kubiak watched tape of Jones-Drew in advance of this Sunday's matchup in Jacksonville.

"I thought he looked very good," Kubiak said. "It doesn't surprise me. He's been one of the top backs in the game ever since he stepped on the field. You can tell he took care of himself while he was out because he picked up right where he left off. Obviously I got to know him a little bit better at the Pro Bowl this year and have tremendous respect for him as a player and as a person."

Jones-Drew had 77 yards on 19 rushing attempts in Jacksonville's season-opening loss to Minnesota. He rejoined the Jaguars after a 38-day holdout prior during the 2012 preseason.
