Texans Vs. Jaguars: Week 2 Inactives

With a slew of injuries suffered during preseason and Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings, the Jaguars will be under-manned when they host the Houston Texans in their home opener on Sunday afternoon.

Particularly, they are thin on the offensive line where Cameron Bradfield and Eben Britton will both be absent from a line that is already missing Will Rackley for the season. In a surprising decision, the Jaguars have placed Herb Taylor in the starting lineup at left guard.

If Britton was unable to play, most believed undrafted rookie Mike Brewster would make the start, but instead the Jaguars have turned the position over to Taylor, a lineman they signed on Monday. Whimper will get the start at right tackle.

Jaguars inactives:

Derek Cox
Rashad Jennings
Daryl Smith
Eben Britton
Cameron Bradfield
George Selvie
Austen Lane

Texans inactives:

DeVier Posey
John Beck
Roc Carmichael
Brandon Harris
Bryan Braman
Andrew Gardner
Brandon Brooks
