Texans Vs. Jaguars Score Update: Houston Leads 24-7 Entering Final Quarter

After starting the second half with yet another punt, the Jaguars rebounded with their first score of the game. However, the score was quickly answered by the Texans with a touchdown of their own. After three quarters, the Jaguars still trail by 17 points with a 24-7 score.

The Jaguars forced a Texans punt deep in their own territory and the Jaguars received a solid punt return from Mike Thomas to give them the ball in Houston territory. A 32-yard strike from Blaine Gabbert to Laurent Robinson got the team within the 10-yard line and that set up a 5-yard touchdown reception for Maurice Jones-Drew.

The Texans, though, aided by an Andre Branch offsides penalty that extended their drive, completed a 17-play, 75-yard drive with a 2-yard touchdown run for Ben Tate.

Following Bryan Anger's eighth punt of the game, the Texans begin the fourth quarter with a long third down deep in their own territory.
