The Jacksonville Jaguars' offense struggled mightily in the team's 27-7 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday; quarterback Blaine Gabbert was just 7-19 for 53 yards before leaving the game because of an injury, and the Jags managed just 117 total yards. Gabbert says the offense really hurt itself with mistakes early in the contest:
"Yeah we killed ourselves. We were I think zero for nine on third downs. Just a lack of execution, had a bunch of mental mistakes and we shot ourselves in the foot. You can't win football games in the NFL by doing that. Everybody has talent and when one side of the ball messes up the other team executes and capitalizes on it."

The Jaguars had the ball for just 16 minutes and 43 seconds.
Gabbert underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed an injury to a muscle in his posterior. At this point, he is not expected to miss Jacksonville's next game.
