Maurice Jones-Drew Isn't Sure How Much He'll Play In Week 1

Maurice Jones-Drew ended his hold out on Sunday, reporting to Jacksonville Jaguars camp after a 38-day holdout. After missing the entire preseason, it'll take a little bit to get MJD up to speed -- and he's not sure how much he'll be playing in Week 1.

Big Cat Country has a post with quotes from both Jones-Drew and Jags head coach Mike Mularkey, regarding MJD's playing time in Jacksonville's Week 1 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

"Yeah I'm going to do the best I can and be ready," Jones-Drew told reporters when asked if he would be ready to contribute on Sunday. "That's up to the coaches if they feel I'm ready. We're going to communicate on that and if they feel I'm ready I'll play, and if not that's their choice."

Jones-Drew spent much of the day on Sunday after his return to the team with running back Sylvester Croom.

How Jones-Drew looks in practice may very well dictate how much he's used in Week 1.
