Jaguars Vs. Vikings Score: Despite Early Domination, Jacksonville Only Leads 9-7

During the first 25 minutes of the first half, the Jaguars dominated in every facet of the game, but were only able to post nine points and a late touchdown by the Vikings keeps the halftime score much closer than the stats would indicate.

Offensively, Blaine Gabbert has looked calm, cool and collected in his dismantling of the Vikings defense. He, along with a rushing attack of Maurice Jones-Drew and Rashad Jennings, methodically picked Minnesota apart on 17 and 14 play drives, but were stopped on the one-yard line on the first and had an extra point blocked on the second. The points left an opportunity on the field for the Vikings.

Despite not earning a first down for a 24-minute span in the first half, the Vikings found a rhythm on their final drive and cut the Jacksonville lead to two with a 3-yard Adrian Peterson touchdown.

The Jaguars will begin the second half with the ball.
