The Miami Dolphins are 3.5 point favorites in their Week 6 contest with the St. Louis Rams. The odds opened with the Dolphins favored by 2.5, but the action has been in the direction of a Miami win.
The total for the game is 38 points, a mark the Dolphins have gone under only once in the 2012 season; Week 5's 17-13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. The four games prior to that one averaged a total of 44 points.
Week 6 may be low on scoring, though. The Rams have one of the worst offenses in the league, ranked 30th in passing yards and No. 22 in defending the rush, while their 12th-ranked passing defense might give Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins offense some issues. Miami should be able to find success on offense if they keep to the ground. They're averaging 135.6 yards rushing per game, while St. Louis is giving up an average of 117.2.
