Miami rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill is coming off his most efficient game of his young career. The first-round pick out of Texas A&M was 17-for-26 for 223 yards against the Bengals. He didn't have a touchdown or interception, but his quarterback rating was a season-high 92.3.
The Dolphins hope for a more effective running game this weekend. Against the Bengals, Reggie Bush (19 carries, 48 yards) and Daniel Thomas (10 carries, 29 yards) each averaged less than 3 yards per carry. Both finished with a touchdown.
St. Louis running back Steven Jackson, who has battled through injuries recently, rushed for a season-high 76 yards against the Cardinals. He's averaging 3.5 yards per carry going into Week 6.
Rams quarterback Sam Bradford, a No. 1 overall pick in 2010, enters Sunday's contest against the Dolphins with 1,022 passing yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions.
